If you are attacked
  1. Disconnect affected systems but do not wipe anything — evidence matters.
  2. Call the insurer's incident line immediately, and tell us at the same time.
  3. Do not pay anyone or negotiate alone. We coordinate the response with the insurer.

Why Arrange Cyber Insurance Through Us

Sized on downtime, not on data volume

For most Lebanese SMEs the damage is not the data — it is the days of not trading. We size the interruption cover against what a week offline would actually cost you.

Response matters more than the limit

What determines the outcome is how fast a specialist is engaged. We check the policy gives you a response team, and that you know how to reach them at 2am.

Requirements checked honestly

Insurers increasingly require backups, multi-factor authentication and patching. If you do not meet the conditions, a claim can fail. We tell you what is required before you buy, not after.

Social engineering treated separately

The most common real-world loss is an invoice paid to a fraudster. That is often excluded from base cyber cover and needs specific wording.

Cyber Insurance in Lebanon — Common Questions

Is this relevant to a small business in Lebanon?

Ransomware is largely automated and untargeted — it reaches whoever is reachable. Small businesses are hit frequently precisely because their defences are lighter. If your business stops when your systems stop, the exposure is real regardless of size.

What does it not cover?

Typically the cost of upgrading systems you should already have maintained, losses arising from known unpatched vulnerabilities, and in many policies, fraudulent payments unless social engineering cover is specifically added. We will go through the exclusions with you before you commit.

We use cloud services — are we covered by them?

Your provider covers their infrastructure, not your business. If their outage stops you trading, the loss is yours, and recovering it from them is usually contractually limited. Contingent business interruption cover is what responds to that.
