Why Arrange Health Cover Through Us

We read the exclusions to you

Waiting periods, pre-existing conditions, what is capped and what is not covered at all — explained before you sign, not discovered at the hospital desk.

Your hospital and doctor, checked first

Before you commit, we confirm whether the hospitals and consultants you actually use are inside that insurer's network.

Room class in plain terms

The difference between the class you are paying for and the room you will be admitted to is where most disappointment happens. We spell it out.

We handle approvals with the insurer

Pre-authorisation for planned admissions, and someone reachable when the hospital wants confirmation before treating you.

When you need to claim
  1. For a planned admission, tell us first — we obtain the insurer's approval before you go in.
  2. For an emergency, get treated and call us; we deal with the paperwork afterwards.
  3. We chase the insurer for settlement and keep you updated rather than leaving you to follow it up.

Health Insurance in Lebanon — Common Questions

What does health insurance actually cover in Lebanon?

Typically in-patient treatment and surgery, out-patient consultations and diagnostics, and emergency care, up to the limits in your policy schedule. What varies most between insurers is the annual limit, the room class you are entitled to, and which hospitals are in network. Two policies at a similar price can behave very differently at the point of admission, which is the part worth comparing carefully.

What are waiting periods and pre-existing condition exclusions?

A waiting period is a stretch at the start of the policy during which certain treatment is not yet covered — maternity usually carries the longest. A pre-existing condition is something you already had before the policy started; insurers may exclude it permanently, cover it after a set period, or accept it with a higher premium. Declare everything honestly at application. An undisclosed condition is the most common reason a claim is refused.

How do hospital networks and room class work?

Insurers agree rates with specific hospitals. Inside that network, treatment is usually settled directly; outside it you may need to pay and claim back, or you may not be covered at all. Room class sets the standard of accommodation you are entitled to. If the class you hold is unavailable when you arrive, what happens next depends on the policy wording — worth checking before you need it.

Can I keep my own doctor?

Often, but not always. It depends on whether that consultant works with the hospitals in the insurer's network. Tell us who you want to keep seeing and we will check it against the options before you decide, rather than after.

What happens if I need treatment that is not available in Lebanon?

Some policies include treatment abroad, sometimes with medical evacuation. Others cover it only for specific conditions, and some exclude it entirely. If this matters to you, say so at the outset — it changes which insurers are worth quoting.
